- Abstract:
- Necrotising enterocolitis (NEC) is a common and yet lethal intestinal inflammatory disease of neonates.In recent years,the incidence rate of NEC is rising.However,its underlying mechanism has remained elusive.Intensive researches have been conducted with emerging high-throughput sequencing technology.More and more studies have implicated a strong correlation between abnormal development of gut microbiota and its onset.This article reviewed recent researches of infantile gut microbiota and NEC to provide new perspectives for its prevention and treatment.
