- Abstract:
- Objetive To improve the surgical result in treatment of subdural effusion in children. Methods The clinical data of 32 patients with subdural effusion from Aug.2011 to Aug.2012 which was analyzed retrospectively, all of them received surgical treatment.Persistent drainage in 31 cases,drainage followed by craniotomy in 1 case. Results Among the 32 cases,31 cases were improved and 1 case was given up treatment.No child was dead. Conclusion Persistant drainage can treat subdural effusion in children.
