Classifications and clinical managements of vascular abnormalities

- Vascular abnormalities are a diverse group of vascular and lymphatic diseases occurring frequently in children.Different clinical types have their unique pathophysiological characteristics so that classifying accurately and treating properly are essential.Considering that the etiology and mechanism of these diseases have not been fully elucidated and new methods and technologies are emerging continuously,the standardization of vascular abnormalities has become more imperative.This paper summarizes the classifications,growth characteristics,diagnostics,treatment options and current dilemmas of vascular anomalies.
