- Abstract:
- Objective To investigate the effect of abdominal sacral angioplasty treatment on high neonatal anus atresia and influencing factors. Methods A retrospective analysis was carried out in Shenzhen Chilren’s Hospital from October 1997 to December 2009, 17 cases of high anal atresia were admitted in this study, all of which were operated by stage I abdominal sacral angioplasty. Results 16 cases of children were with normal anal function. One case was with infection of abdominal incision, however, after suture the wound healed. 16 cases of children were with normal defecation after anal expansion, but 1 was lost to be followed up. Conclusion The selectivity of stage I abdominal sacral angioplasty treatment on high anal atresia is safe and with satisfactory effect.
