- Abstract:
- As one complex type of three-dimensional foot deformity, cavus feet affects children with primary disorders of neuromuscular system.Deformity is manifested as bony alignment abnormity and muscle imbalances. There are many treatment options, including soft tissue release, osteotomy and tendon transfer, etc.A proper selection of treatment options is dependent upon on age, flexibility and severity of deformity.Thorough and accurate clinical and radiographic evaluations are vital for decision-making and achieving a better prognosis. This review summarized clinical examinations and radiographic assessments of pediatric cavus foot.
